15 марта в клубе «Город» (ул. Старая Басманная, д. 20, ст.м. «Курская», «Красные Ворота») пройдет

вторая клубная вечеринка для геймеров.

Сбор гостей в 18.00, стоимсть билета - 100 рублей.

Что ждет гостей вечеринки?

Во-первых, игровая зона с более 20 демо-юнитами PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 с новейшими и еще не вышедшими проектами (для Wii: «Wii Zapper», «Mortal Kombat», «Rayman Raving

Rabbids 2», «No More Heroes»; для Playstation 3: «Gran Tourismo» 5, «Rainbow Six 6: Vegas 2», «SEGA Superstar Tennis»; для Xbox 360: «Guitar Hero III», «Condemned 2», «Viking» и др.

Во-вторых, в зоне ток-шоу на презентациях проектов («Gran Turismo 5: Prologue», «Condemned II», «Viking», «Wii Zapper», «Warfare») можно будет получить информацию из первых рук, узнать ответы

на давно интересующие вопросы, а также выиграть ценные призы, включая диплом Gamers Party на право получить игру первым, когда она поступит в продажу в России! Помимо презентаций игровых

новинок, вас ждёт презентация первого телеканала для геймеров: «GameLand TV».

На мероприятии будет проводиться большая игра-квест для посетителей. Главные призы – консоли Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii.

Модные диджеи взорвут танцпол, превращая вечеринку в настоящий праздник. В программе обширная развлекательная часть: выступления каскадеров и паркурщиков, музыкальной группы Аэробика, а

также звёзд аниме-сцены.

Видеоотчеты о мероприятии выйдут на дисках к журналам «Страна Игр», «РС ИГРЫ», в видеоподкасте на сайте www.gameland.ru, а также на Gameland.TV в программе Темы.

Dear Friends and Family of the Gamers Haven,

You, or many of you, are aware that we recently lost the store due to a very serious fire. I truly and honestly believe that this is not the end of the Gamers Haven. Certainly it is an end to an era, but I would rather look to it as a new beginning.

I have tentatively titled this "new beginning" <b>Gamers Haven: The Phoenix</b>. If you think of any better names especially those with Phoenix in the title then please feel free to post your suggestions. It seems rather fitting, as the Haven will very literally rise from the ashes to be born anew.

Russ, Yvonne, Malachi and Gabriel are very resilient and will no doubt weather this storm in their personal lives, but they have realized that they are not alone in this and that there is a whole community of people ready to stand at their side in some capacity to support them.

Many individuals and families have made donations of miniatures, money or even good will and kind words which are very powerful in times like these. To these and all other members of the gaming community, I would like to say Thanks.

Russ seems very hopeful at the prospect of reopening the Gamers Haven. As I said above, while our collective loss is dire, this is our opportunity for a new beginning and we should all stop and look towards the future.

I have decided to make a button on the main page of the website that provides an easy way to make monetary donations.

If you wish to donate money, this is just here to make it easier for you, dont feel like you must. Anything, whether it is just calling to check in on Russ and his family, building terrain or gaming tables, donating supplies or miniatures, or anything you feel would help.

I have set this up using Russs paypal account, so the donation money goes directly to him and his family.
