Well, I just got done playing it for nearly 10 hours. I'm not a fanboy or a butt kisser of Bethesda, and I don't run out and claim BEST RPG EVER to every game I await to be released.
First, people who think 9.5 or 95% review is too low, or who think that this game requires a 10 or 100% review is smoking too much skooma. This game is fun, and is greatly updated from Morrowind in many fields, however there are some downsides.
First, although the graphics are really clean and detailed within your "radius", the graphics displayed via viewing distance is just horrible. Yes, it's not that pretty at all.
Second, they need to fix the Interface immediately. It's way too big, and I run at 1680x1050 widescreen format. The inventory screen is way too big, and it's not organized at all. They could have created an interface adjusting screen in the options, because it looks like the interface stays at 640x480 regardless of what resolution you play at. Horrible.
Third, the monster's levels and guards levels being adjusted to your level is horrible. Let me tell you right now, after 10 hours of playing I don't feel like my hero is a hero. He doesn't feel stronger or better in any way because the mobs keep going up to compete with my guy's level. I feel like every fight, I'm just a newbie all over again. This is really a show stopper for me. The fact that I have guards that are 10 & cpts. 15 levels higher than me. You will NEVER feel like you're powerful. This defeats the point of ROLEPLAYING.
So what is the good? It's pretty addicting regardless of it's flaws. Level of Detail is amazing, and I've hit an average of 60fps or more the entire time, sometimes hitting triple digits in houses, and caverns. The combat is very fun, but I got my butt handed to me plenty of times by these darn spellcasters. Anyways, you're going to get it no matter what, but hopefully by posting flaws, we can hope Bethesda will actually work on fixing some problems that should obviously be addressed (Inventory and Interface screen)
I'd give it a 7/10 maybe an 8/10 for it's added upgrades.
Have fun guys!

I have an Athlon 64 3500+, 1GB RAM and a 6800GT overclocked to Ultra speeds and Oblivion autodetected at high quality. Runs fairly well, about 30FPS avg outside, but I DID bump the res. up to 1280x960, it set it at 1024x768.

Ok I got the game about 50 mins ago, ive installed it and been playing for about 20 - 25 mins...
my specs:
2.80 Ghz
512 ram
ATI radeon 9550
I have everything on lowest settings and it runs fine.. I'm sure im getting about 30fps and I havn't experienced any drop in framerate, even in combat with the goblins. The graphics are still awesome on low settings
