Cryptic анонсировала кооперативную ролевую игру Neverwinter, выход которой намечен на четвертый квартал 2011-го года эксклюзивно для PC.
Разработчики игры черпают свое вдохновение из грядущей трилогии книг R.A. Salvatore. Сюжет игры будет сфокусирован на городе Neverwinter, столкнувшимся с огромным количеством катастроф за последние сто лет. После смерти последнего правителя различные фракции продолжают сражаться за власть, невзирая на огромные людские потери после Spellplague. Даже мертвые восстали из своих могил и пошли на город, который они когда-то называли домом. Игрокам будет представлена возможность выбрать один из пяти классов - клирик, маг, воин, вор, лучник и играть совместно с друзьями, искусственным интеллектом или одному. Кроме того, игрокам будет предоставлена возможность создавать свои приключения и задания с помощью удобного редактора Forge.
